How Long Have You Been Doing Art?
For 14 years, I have been creating art seriously. I have been creative and been involved with creative hobbies, though, my entire life!
How Did You Get Started Doing Art?
I’ve been doing creative things my entire life. From being a child with coloring books at NaNa’s house, singing in a trio with my nieces or solo at karaoke, crafting with anything I could get my hands on, and fashion designing in coloring pads with Crayola markers, to being a teen and young adult in talent shows, plays, leading art events over 50+ people, and traveling to Arizona to pursue animation with a fantastic animator.
But where art really started for me as a serious thing I could do with myself was when I was 11. I followed a tutorial to draw a Smurf, step-by-step. Soon my walls were covered in drawings I had done. And soon after, I learned what an animator was. The rest is history.
